Ladies who want to dress up like a female pirate need a black skirt as an alternative to pants. The female pirate skirt can either be long or short. The peasant sort of skirt will be the best option if one chooses a long skirt. However , if one goes with short skirt, she will cut the bottom of long skirt with scissors to make it appear old and tattered.

The pirate accessories are also important to the realistic pirate outfit. These may comprise pirate boots, hat or bandanna, belt or sash, foil, earrings and jewellery. Long black boots works very well with pirate get ups. A pirate style hat is a fantastic way to accessorise any pirate costume. Using a red or a black bandanna on the head will give the costume an authentic pirate look.
